No More Class!!
Woohoo! No more class, and just in time too!! It sucks for a lot of people that the TTC workers are striking, but I'm thankful that at least they held off, however unintentionally, until the end of school! I'll still have exams to get to, of course, but I've got a good pair of legs, and the walking will be good for me. ^_~
Anyway, after class I went around to drop off stuff at various buildings (only two, actually) to complete my registration at OISE!! =D Hooray!
Then after I came home, I went on a mini shopping spree!!! (Ironically, since that stewardship class about money, I've spent a lot more than usual on anime! ^^;;) I went to Comic Den and picked up "Wild Com." a collection of short stories by Yumi Tamura (of Legend of Basara fame), the CLAMP North Side and South Side artbooks, and the Fruits Basket "Memory for You" cd (which happened to be on sale for 25% off--nice!). =D Ah....There's just something about buying anime that makes me happy.
Oh, and on a rather random note, I felt a little bit embarrassed when I was at Comic Den because the guy (Terry, I think?) was like: "You haven't been around as often" and I kind of mumbled something about not having as much time anymore because of my school schedule... What could I say? Certainly not that I didn't go as often because they're more expensive than E.K. or One Million Comix. ^^;; See, in my last year of high school, I went to rent anime or to pick up stuff every one or two weeks. Even in my first couple of years in university I made it a point to reserve a couple of series of anime or manga to buy from them, just so I'd still be giving them business... It's weird I know, but I have this thing about customer loyalty/support--I even make cookies for E.K. and Comic Den for Christmas.
So anyway, I'm taking this weekend off completely!! No studying for exams, no cleaning my room (although it's in a near-dire condition), nothing!! I'm just going to read, watch anime, and otherwise relax!! Maybe I'll even finish "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind," which I've started watching (in Woodlands) but haven't completed twice now! =P
