Hooray for Port Forwarding!

I FINALLY figured out how to forward ports on my router, and it makes downloading SO much easier! Not only can I now acess servers on IRC behind firewalls, but using bittorrent is SO much faster now!! Let me tell you, in the past two or three days since I figured it out, I've downloaded about thirty episodes of Prince of Tennis! Thirty episodes! It probably would've taken me at least two or three weeks to do that before! ^_^

Heh, and now that there's much less hockey (no NHL, just Swedish Elite Leage about once a week), I've been spending more time on anime again. It helps, of course, that so many of my favourite titles are starting to be released by North American companies!! Viz especially has been picking up a lot of good titles of late: Hana-Kimi (short for "Hanazakari no Kimitachi e", aka "For You in Full Blossoms"), W-Juliet, and Whistle! And of course I started to like Prince of Tennis after I bought the first graphic novel on a whim.

Speaking of Prince of Tennis, my favourite character is probably Fuji Syuusuke (see a few pictures on this fanlisting), because he reminds me of Kenshin!! The way he's depicted as using "Tsubame Gaeshi" especially makes it look like he's getting into a fighting stance--only using a tennis raquet instead of a sword. When he and Takashi are playing against the Fudomine doubles pair, and he, Fuji, decides that he needs to act decisively in order to win the game, his intensity and battle stance are so totally Kenshin!!! Not to mention, he looks a bit like Kenshin, with the way his hair falls around his face. Plus he's got that outwardly peaceful, funny exterior covering his intensity most of the time.

Another Rurouni Kenshin (the series) character similarity I noticed was between Kisarazu Atsushi, the second doubles player from St. Rudolph (see a picture of him here--you'll have to scroll down a bit), and Captain Sagara (see here, again, scroll down). It's purely superficial, though--just the red headband and haircut.

Anyway, if you haven't watched/read any Prince of Tennis, you're probably extremely confused, so I'll stop here!
