This is just too scary. Right now there's a hostage situation at the sidewalk in front of Union Station. Apparently the situation started at Wellington, in a concourse foodcourt where the guy fired some shots. A woman was taken to the hospital, possibly with head injuries--it's not known whether or not she was shot.
Right now he's on Front Street, between Bay and University, holding a gun to a woman's head.
SCARY.
Thank God I start work so early.
[Edit: The hostage situation has ended, and the woman seems to be okay. The man was shot by police, though.]
