Well, Syv went off to Vancouver yesterday, but it still hasn't really sunk in yet, I think. Maybe it'll hit me more this weekend when I'll be at the diamond and at church, but I won't see her there.
At any rate, I feel a lot more at ease in terms of our friendship with her going off to UBC for med school than I did when she went off to McMaster for first year. Sure things are going to change now that she's a five-hour flight rather than a forty-five minute drive away, but I know that we both care about our friendship, so it's not another one of those things that I'm just going to let slide.
So yeah, UBC med school. I'm so proud--Syv's our first med student!! ^_^ And now I have another reason to visit Vancouver! =P
