First off, apologies for my lack of blogging! I haven't been dead or sick or anything, I was just deep into my hockey obsession, what with it being playoff time and all. So yes, I updated RHF almost everyday, and neglected all my other blogs. ^^;; Sorry!
So back to my subject line, I've just realized that I am a total email junkie! When it's not too busy at work, I'm frequently (I was going to say "constantly" but I do try to limit my internet time at work, because I'm supposed to be working!) checking my various email accounts, especially Gmail! And at home, I've started to just leave my Gmail open so I can always pop back to the page to see if I have a new message! I'm always a bit sad when I open an inbox and I don't have any new messages waiting for me--which happens quite often, since I'm always checking my mail. =P
Email Addict
How did you cope before email? You're addicted! If only you could get your granny on line, you'd never have to put pen to paper again. Everything in your life is done by email - from office memos to planning a night on the town.
Keeping up with the 21st century is good - but have you taken it a bit too far? When was the last time you got in touch with a friend who isn't on email? Email's great, but pick up a phone or a pen once in a while too… at least until everyone you care about is on-line.
So now you know, if you want to tell me that you care, email me! Of course, presents are always nice too! ^_~ (/jks)
Seriously though, email is a wonderful thing for me. I mean, I've never really been fond of the phone, even before email days, and while I never had any trouble writing letters, I almost always postponed mailing them for so long they became so out-of-date I would end up just chucking them! Without email I don't think I would be nearly as communicative/open as I've become. Still, I guess I should transfer some of that communication, etc. to more personal contact type channels.
