Well, I got my English essay back today, and was very pleasantly surprised. I thought I would maybe get a 70-something, but I actually got an 85!!!!!!!! Woohoo! It was especially nice considering that I just handed in the worst essay ever in for my Tale of Genji class. =(
I was pretty upset about that because I thought I had a good outline, but I started trying to write around 4pm and nothing would come. So yeah, I just kept writing and re-writing the intro until around 5 or 6am, and then I knew I just had to finish it, so I just churned out whatever. It was pretty awful. I didn't even bother to re-read it.
So yeah, I finished it around 8:45am yesterday morning, meaning I've been up for more than 48 hours now. ^^;; Well, I did nap a bit on the subway on the way to school (not much though, because I was afraid I'd conk out and go all the way east), and a bit in the library (again, not much because I was afraid I'd sleep through and miss my Japanese oral test), but other than that, I've been up the entire time! Surprisingly I'm still feeling quite okay. It'll probably hit me tomorrow in my Enlightenment Europe class. =P
