I don't remember if I mentioned it here, but from Feb. 14th-17th I was in Denver, Colorado to watch the Canucks @ Avalanche hockey game with my friend Steph.
Best. Trip. Ever.
Anyway, most of my thoughts on the trip are related to hockey, so I posted my commentary/description or whatever you want to call it, about the trip on my hockey blog, Rambling Hockey Fangirl. If you're interested, you can read about it here. It's pretty long, but you can skip to different days, so if you want the best part, you can just read about the last two days--that's when everything happened.
So yes, that was an excellent start to reading week. Unfortunately I know it's all downhill from now on, since I have SO MUCH homework to do! I'm going to have to do at least one, possibly two days of Japanese straight, not to mention studying for my Tale of Genji mid-term on Wednesday. ^^;; Still, I guess I shouldn't complain, since Steph's schedule is so much worse than mine.
Oh, and that reminds me, actually, Silas, UT St. George isn't that bad. Our marks were posted on ROSI starting from the 19th of December, or something like that, so I knew my final mark in Japanese poetry and fiction before Christmas, I think. In that at least, they're not too bad.
And Joeie, yes, I saw you picking up Raymond. Scary to think that you're driving now. I feel so old. =P
What else? I'm sure there's more to say, but it's getting late, and I did "lose" two hours coming from Denver, so I think it's about time for me to sleep. Gotta get cracking on the Japanese tomorrow! ^^;; For all my fellow Ontario university students, hope it's a good reading week for you all!
