Well, the trip to Vancouver was uneventful. There was one cool thing about the flight, though. While I was waiting at the gate, I saw this guy reading last week's Hockey News (the one with Owen Nolan on the cover). He didn't seem to have anyone with him, so I thought it'd be cool if we could sit together on the plane and maybe talk hockey.
So I got my seat on the plane, and I was at the window and this older lady was in the aisle. Then this guy (not the hockey one) came and sat down in the center seat, but he was looking around, obviously for a companion. Then he got up and went towards the front of the plane, and the hockey guy came back to sit with us! ^_^ Apparently the hockey guy had been sitting next to the other guy's girlfriend, and he could tell she was feeling a bit stressed, so he switched seats so the couple could be together. ^_^ Cool huh? But of course, me being me, I didn't really actually start much of a hockey conversation with the guy, but it was cool nonetheless. He seemed like a pretty nice guy though, kind of reminded me of my mom's former co-worker, Andrew.
Got to the airport about half an hour early, and Steph (who luckily checked the flight online on time) met me in the baggage claim, which is open, interestingly. We went to her brother's friend, Nathan's place and hung out until around one something--four in the morning Toronto time. @_@ Went to sleep around 3am, and that was my first day in B.C. ^_^
