Before I begin my post-proper, here's the result of a quiz (the image is pretty! =P):
Which [5 Elements] are you?
Anyway, I think I might've mentioned it before, but it just reoccurred to me that I have a bad habit of rewarding myself for going through a tough/busy period by shopping. Looking back I can see how common it was for me to--after exams, pulling all-nighters writing essays, and such--go out to buy anime or something. Today, for example, I worked through lunch AND stayed an extra half hour after work because we literally had thousands of new issue prospectus to send out (we didn't even manage to finish today with all that overtime), and after working through lunch I noticed that I really wanted to go shopping. Not just shopping, but to BUY SOMETHING. Today that something was specifically hockey cards, but I can recall that on past occasions it would be books or anime or something generally useless but caught my eye anyway. =P I think back to earlier this week and realize that when did I buy my Avs VHS tape and Nordiques hat? On Tuesday, after we worked through lunch because it was busy!
So now, having identified this problem, I wonder what I'm going to do about it? Who knows, but it's certainly an interesting phenomenon to note! =P
