Well, I'm back from Grenada! Have been back since 11pm Saturday, actually. Anyway, I know that I grew a lot during the trip (spiritually, not physically), and I believe that people, especially kids in Grenada were impacted by our presence as well, praise the Lord! Hopefully you will soon be able to read about my experiences at my Being Real blog. I've got so much to talk about, I don't know where to start for that one!
Anyway, I did have Monday off--since originally we were supposed to leave and come back on Sundays, I thought I'd be too tired to go to work on Monday--which was a good thing since my course enrolment time was 12pm! It actually took me 2 hours to get all my courses, and I'm still half a credit short since all of my Japanese-related half courses were full. xP It wasn't all bad, though. I was pretty amazed that I was able to get almost all of the courses that I wanted, and in my first choice schedule as well! Monday I have class from 9am-12pm, Tuesday and Thursday from 11am-3pm, and Wednesday is my only really yucky day, from 10am-9pm (with generous gaps in between classes). Friday of course, I have no class. =P So all in all, it went pretty well. I got my second year Japanese (language), Japanese poetry and literature, Japanese history, Shakespeare, and Scots Gaelic. ^_^
Besides registering for my courses, on Monday I also finally had a chance to watch Kenshin: Reflection. I had read some not so good reviews before, but I really loved it! Yes it was very tragic/sad, but the story presented such beautiful characterizations of Kenshin, Kaoru et. al. The characters did seem a bit different from their tv series portrayals, but they still worked. The art wasn't the greatest, but it wasn't ugly, so it was fine with me. Plus there were some really beautiful images. Ah, you know how bad I am with writing reviews. All I can really say is check it out for yourself!
Oh, and I almost didn't make it to the door in time (I was in the WC upstairs), but a courier delivered my FFX-2 cds!! I preordered the Yuna, Rikku and Paine vocal collection cds from CD Japan a while ago, and they arrived at the perfect time! Each cd came with a dvd featuring a music video, interview with the Seiyuu, and a mini-movie of scenes from the game (focused on the specific character of course). I'm really very happy with all three of my cds! ^_^
