Well, I finally got internet again, but as expected, it's turned out to be a bad thing. I really should be studying for my Japanese exam tomorrow, but instead here I am, catching up on webcomics, downloading scanlations, checking email, etc. And I haven't even gotten around to checking out everyone's blogs yet (I feel so disconnected ^^;;)!!
Anyway, I handed in my essays this morning, and boy was it a relief. Surprisingly it didn't even take me all that long to get them finished. See, what happened is I only managed to finish the short research assignment on the weekend because I was preparing my parents' 25th anniversary gift. I did manage to get one paragraph and an outline done for one of the long essays though. So yeah, I was really freaked out on Monday morning, thinking "gotta get this done, gotta get this done!" As expected, it took me about four hours to finish off the first long essay, but then surprisingly it only took me about six hours to get the final one done, even though I totally scrapped what I had begun before and started from scratch--research and all! I was done before 10pm.
Okay, so all of the essays were severely under the word limit--I don't think I even made 2000, and they were supposed to be around 2500-3000--but the point is that I got them done!! If I managed to pull an 80 on the second term test (please please please), then all I need is an average of 60 for all three of them and I'd get a 70! Certainly not ideal when I was hoping for an 80 in the course, but at least it shouldn't be a C--I hope. ^^;;
Geh. Japanese. Must study Japanese. *sigh* I feel like I have so much time because I think I know my Japanese, but in fact I probably don't remember anything, so... Yikes!
