Well, my recent discovery of Toriyama World has sent me into something of a manga "scanlation" frenzy. ^^;; Well, to be more precise, finding Toriyama World resparked my interest in scanlations because the manga reader program they have makes reading scanlations so much easier. What actually caused my recent "frenzy" was discovering Manga Jouhou while I was browsing through the Noated forums.
In my last post I listed 5 ongoing manga series from Toriyama World which I'm following, and now I've added another 7 ongoing series from various other sites, as well as 1 completed series to my collection of scanlated manga.
From Watase's Sorai: Alice 19th; Appare Jipangu!; Epotoransu! Mai; and Imadoki! (complete).
And from Certhy: Partner. I also got one chapter of Mintna Bokura from this site, but they've stopped translating it now. Hopefully Watase's Sorai will indeed get around to translating it.
So there you have it. Even though most people blame my hockey obsession for my pathetic work ethic when it comes to school, it's really my manga obsession that's killing me. The past few nights the earliest I've slept is close to 2am (one night I slept around 3 and another around 4) because I've been reading manga! Gah!
I WILL work harder! p(^ ^)q Ganbatte!! (I'm waving flags, cheering myself on.) If you're wondering about that little emoticon, I found it at Hiroette.com, a site that shows a whole bunch of Japanese smileys! Cute, aren't they? (^-^)b (Ne? Isn't it?) So check it out! If you see more funky smileys here from now on, you'll know where they came from!
