Egad...Did I mention that I got my Fruits Basket manga? I've been spending a ridiculous amount of time attempting to read it! My first year Japanese class has actually been quite helpful, not only because it enabled me to read the hiragana, but because it taught me common verb/tense/whatever endings so I could figure out the dictionary form to use in online translators!
There's more to my manga mania than Fruits Basket, though. thanks to Toriyama World, I've also gotten hooked on Hunter x Hunter!!
I think there is such a thing as appreciating anime/manga too much, and it's certainly doing me in! See, if I was more like my friend Andrea, and only liked shoujo, it wouldn't be nearly as bad for me as it is liking just about everything, both shounen and shoujo! But then again I'd be missing out on so much if I didn't like almost everything, so I guess it's a mixed blessing.
Current scanlations I'm following updates for (from Toriyama World): Hikaru no Go; Hunter x Hunter; + Anima; Kimi Shika Iranai; Full Moon wo Sagashite.
