This is actually more for myself than anyone else. See, if I don't make a list of what I want and prioritize, then I usually end up spending a lot of money on impulse purchases, which probably isn't the best way to spend my money. I set up a wishlist for myself on the Chapters/Indigo website for the same reason. Anyway, my list, somewhat in order of priority, is:
- Avs Around Town Calendar: hopefully I will be able to get a money order sometime on Monday so I can order it!
- earmuffs: it's brutally cold here, and the chill is the worst in my ears
- Sports Night dvd boxset: I don't know why, but the idea of the show has intrigued me ever since I saw the boxset
- World's Greatest Hockey Hits cd: yeah, I pretty much just want this for the HNIC theme, but I still want it, nonetheless
- hockey player prints: they've got the unframed prints available through the NHL online team stores now, and they're only twenty something dollars each for the 8x12 size!! I think I want the Sakic, Roy, Yzerman, and even Cujo (it's really aesthetically pleasing) ones...
Notice that I don't have any anime stuff on here? That's because anime is already my first spending priority, so I don't have to worry about forgetting to buy that! Also notice how sportscentric the list is? Hockey has made me more interested in sports in general, although I probably won't ever be as crazy about any other sport as hockey--for one thing, my wallet couldn't take it! =Þ
But I also want to start saving some money for a short term mission trip in the summer, so I guess all these things are going to be on my list for a while. Ah well, I need to learn some discipline when it comes to spending anyway...Speaking of which, I think I'd better transfer some money to my savings account now, otherwise I'm going to end up spending it all. ^^;;
