Well, yesterday I was supposed to start catching up on my work, but that didn't happen at all. I got up around 12:30pm, went on the net for a while, then remembered my phone and turned it on to find that I had a message. My friend had called the night before, inviting me to have lunch with her and some high school friends the next (that is, yesterday, Friday). Luckily they weren't supposed to meet until 1:15pm, otherwise I would've missed it. As it was, I really rushed to get ready so I wouldn't be late. Surprisingly, I actually ended up being the first one to arrive.
Anyway, we went to some Italian place on Bloor St., and it was pretty good. After lunch they all came over to my place and we just sat around my room talking and laughing a lot. ^_^ They stayed until around 6:00pm.
Right after that I rushed off to the UTARPA (anime club) showing, and I was there for a couple of hours before I rushed back to res keep my promise to watch a movie with my suitemates. They rented "About a Boy" and even though I watched it in theatres this past summer, it was still fun to watch it again.
It's really important to take time out to spend with friends, so even though I didn't accomplish anything in terms of school work (well, I managed to do some Japanese homework while I was at UTARPA), I wouldn't do anything differently.
