I totally don't understand American companies! Why do they never seem to take Canada into consideration? For example, I ordered the limited internet-only edition of the LotR:TTT soundtrack, but I had to get it sent to my friend in the States because they wouldn't ship to Canada! Now I've been looking at the LotR Collectibles site (the Legolas bust and Legolas weapon set look really spiffy) and Canada isn't even mentioned in the list of international distributors, and the site only ships to the States!
For crying out loud! It's not like Canada is halfway across the globe or something! We're still part of North America!! Why are American companies so stupid? I'm sure there are tons of things Canadians would love to buy--even considering the exchange rate--if it wasn't so darn frustrating trying to figure out how to order things and to get things shipped from the States!
Did I ever tell you the story of my Kenshin bag? I ordered it last year from Planet Anime which does ship to Canada, but in order to place my order, I had to set my "state" to Texas or something, type in a specific number for the zip code and then write in my actua address in the special instructions section!! Talk about making Canadian customers jump through hoops!
So yeah, my conclusion is that (many) American online companies are stupid. xP
