It's really quite strange that I'm getting sick now, considering that I no longer have any stress, and I've been able to get lots of sleep and whatnot--the only thing I'm still neglecting is proper nutrition. Yesterday, after I came back from a book signing and shopping excursion, I started to feel kind of nauseated, my throat got all dry and I started coughing. I took a Tylenol and had a nap, but I still ended up developing a low-grade fever.
Then, because I'm brilliant (sarcastic) I went out with my suitemates for dinner. ^^;; Given the chance to do it again, I'd still make the same decision because it's important to me to spend time with my suitemates, but it probably didn't help me in terms of avoiding getting sicker. On top of that I stayed up late making a gingerbread house and opening presents (again with my suitemates) and then I had to clean up and get ready to go back to Mississauga today. Oh, and I hate being too warm, so I left my window open, which also probably wasn't the smartest thing to do when you're sick.
Geh. I hate being slightly sick. At least if you're really sick you know that you should just lie down and get better, but because I'm not that sick, I'm still doing stuff, I just feel icky while I'm doing whatever I'm doing. And it just figures that I would get sick near the start of my holidays, too.
Anyway, sorry for whining so much; I'm not all that great a person to be around when I'm feeling under the weather.
