Urgh, so much for the idea that blogging regularly will help me to learn how to just write without too much stopping. I had another all-nighter tonight to finish an English essay, but in my own defense, I honestly didn't think it would take this long to write! I mean, it's only five paragraphs, and I knew what I wanted to write about, so there's no reason why it should have taken me 10 hrs to finish! Last year I wrote about a paragraph an hour, so I don't know why this year it takes me twice as long! ARGH!!
I'm mad at myself for not starting this paper earlier because if I had more time to write it, I think I could've done an amazing job--unlike last time when I simply didn't have a clue what was going on, so it didn't matter how much time I had. It's so frustrating to have great ideas in your head that you want to convey, and then to be unable to do so because of writer's block! I don't know what's going on, I've never really had a problem putting my words to paper (well, word processor) before. Usually if I can't write it's because I'm not totally sure what I want to say, but that wasn't the case this time! BOO!!
Oh wellm hopefully this will provide incentive for me to start my next English paper (for Romantic Poetry and Prose again) more than a day before it's due! Actually, if I want to go home this weekend I'll definitely have to have it almost polished by three days before the deadline. Wow, haven't done that in a long time. Let's hope I'll be able to do it this week!
