Not Your Average Sprite

If you've ever played Secret of Mana (and you enjoyed it), you should definitely check out Secret of Mana Theater. It's not your average sprite comic, in fact, I don't know if you can even call it a comic, since it's Flash-animated! Very impressive. I wonder how he did it...

SoM was a great game; thinking of it brings back fond memories of playing it with my brother. Yeah, some siblings might spend "quality time" talking to each other, but we play video games (or watch anime) together! =Þ I actually started to play the game on my own, but I still haven't finished it because I like to completely level up, which is a slow and boring process.

Legend of Mana, the SoM sequel, wasn't as fun to play, mostly because the story wasn't linear, and I'm big on linear storylines. Super Ninentendo was the best system, it had all the great games: Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy III. Too bad the SNES game cartridges cost a fortune now. It's very strange, but while most technology gets cheaper the older it gets, SNES games, "classic" games get more expensive. Playstation and PS2 games are reduced to less than half of the original price once they become "classics," but not SNES games?! Very strange. Ah well, at least we had the original SNES versions of SoM and FFIII, so the only one we missed was Chrono Trigger.

Anyway, go check out Secret of Mana Theater, it's most entertaining!
