Geh, remember that Romantic Poetry and Prose class I'm always talking about in a less than ecstatic manner? Well, as it turns out, my professor's health problems are bad enough that they're looking for a replacement for her for the rest of the year. -_-;; I hope it's not too serious, I feel kind of bad for always complaining about her absences now.
At any rate, the unfortunate thing for our class is that apparently she's some kind of expert on these 20th century writers who aren't part of the Romantic Movement, but who we were going to study anyway because they provide a way to analyze Romantic writing, or something. To be more clear, basically our entire course outline is going to have to be changed because our professor had a vision for the course that only she could really teach. ::sigh:: This course has been nothing but trouble so far. I hope the replacement professor is really good, because otherwise I don't think I'll be able to recover any sort of enthusiasm for the course.
On the positive side, my friend has informed me that my Kodocha dvdrs have arrived, so I'm that much closer to getting them! ^_^ (Thanks, L.!) Actually I finished watching the second and final part of the series (the jr. high yrs.) yesterday, so I suspect that I'll be feeling some withdrawal symptoms soon. Well, there is the OVA series, which I heard is pretty bad, but if I'm desperate, then I guess there's no choice, right? =Þ
I still haven't gotten the final Princess Nine disc yet, because I'm waiting for it to show up at Best Buy, where it's considerably cheaper than the places where I would normally get it. Most likely I'll last another week before caving in and just buying it anywhere. That's it for now! I've got to rememorize the katakana (I knew it last week, really!) before my Japanese tutorial!
