Don't know why, but I suddenly felt the urge to draw today. So I did. Even stranger was that I ended up drawing male characters. I rarely draw guys, because I'm not very good at it, but today I drew four pictures, none female!
At least some things don't change, though: none of the characters were drawn below the shoulders! =Þ I really don't have much of a concept of human anatomy, or proportion, or anything, so it always starts to look funny if I try to draw torsos or whatnot.
Anyway, maybe it's because I'm currently listening to the Lord of the Rings soundtrack, but for some reason all of the people had pointed ears (when you could see their ears, that is)! Speaking of the Lotr soundtrack, did you know that if you play it on your computer it gives you access to a special Lotr soundtrack website? I've had the soundtrack for almost a year now, and it was only today that I popped it into my computer to play! Usually I listen to it on my disc-man or stereo. Back to the special site, though, it's got an interview with Enya, a Lotr email template, a Lotr web card, and stuff like that. Not bad.
Oh yeah, and about Lotr, I don't think I mentioned it before, but I got the series II Legolas figure!! Whoo hoo! I wonder if the first one was so easy to find when it first came out? Anyway, that I already got it means that I won't have to ask my friends to get it for me for Christmas, and they won't have to scour all the toy shops to find one! I actually bought two Legolas figures, just in case later on it does get as hard to find as the first one. Then I shall sell it on eBay. Mwa ha ha! And if it remains easy to find, well, then I guess I'll keep them both and use one to actually play with! Win-win situation!! ^_^
Man, a friend and I watched the trailer for the Lotr special edition dvd (four discs!!) and boy, does it look sweet! I was kind of "eh" about it before, but after getting a glimpse of some of the stuff on there, I'm definitely getting it! Anyway, the normal Lotr dvd came with an $8 rebate coupon, so it's not so bad. November 12th!!! Can't wait! (Yes, I know I'm crazy.)
