Today did not start off well. My "History of Modern Japan" prof kept on lecturing past 11am, so I felt awfully rude trying to inconspicuously (pretty hard when you're sitting second row, centre) pack up before he was done. Then, because he ended late, I had to run to my next class, which, as you know, is exactly ten minutes away at a painfully fast walk. It was even worse getting there today thanks to the smog stew that is Toronto's air. @_@ Then (as if you didn't see this one coming), when I got to class, it was empty. This girl was there, though, and she told me that the class was cancelled since the prof was couldn't be there today. Sure enough, I went back outside, took a look at the door, and saw a note explaining that there would be no class due to a child care emergency. GYARGH!! And this is the only professor who doesn't have email! :evil evil evil: If she did, she could've emailed all of us and let us know BEFORE we went to the room for class. It's even more frustrating because she knows that some of us are rushing over from the other side of the campus!! :fumes:
:sigh: I know it's not really her fault. I mean, when you've got emergencies that crop up, probably the last thing on your mind is making sure that the few poor students who have to rush to class know that they don't, in fact, have to rush to class on that particular day.
Man, I know I was talking about needing to get more exercise last night with my suitemates, but this was NOT how I wanted to do it!
