I had steak at Le Bifthèque again tonight. Now that I've tried their prime rib, New York sirloin, and filet mignon (all medium-rare--yum!) I can safely say that nothing beats filet mignon! The prime rib has too much fat, and the New York sirloin is too tough, even medium-rare. (Wonder if having it rare would've made a difference?)
So the next time I have steak, I'll pay more to have the filet mignon without a qualm--unless someone else is paying, then I'll choose my steak to match the price of theirs. Of course I've had steak twice this month (once before the wisdom teeth, and once after), so I probably won't have a craving for it anytime soon. Thank goodness, I don't think my budget could handle that much steak! =Þ
