Funny how it works, isn't it? The more stuff that you do, the more you should have to write about, but in reality, the more you do, the less time you have to blog!! At least, that's what I'm finding.
I went to a friend's place for a casual dinner get-together last (Tuesday) night. He cooked, and boy was it good! For a starter we had this salad of baby spinach, grilled portobello mushrooms and grape tomatoes with a balsamic vinegar (and other stuff) dressing. The main course was linguine with tomato sauce and Italian (?) sausage. Of course, the BEST part was dessert...chocolate soufflé...yummy!
By the time I got back it was already twelve something in the morning, so I had just enough time to do my emailing before going to sleep.
Then today I had a meeting in Waterloo, which is about an hour's drive from where I live. It was very hectic and disorganized getting there, but it was a good meeting, so I considered it worth the time and effort. ^_^ That's not something I can say about a lot of my meetings, unfortunately.
So that's what's been up with me. Sorry this is a fluff post, but I didn't want to go two days with complete silence. Oh, and just as way advance notice, I'm getting my wisdom teeth out on August 2nd so I don't know if I'll be able to write anything for the next two or three days afterwards. Depends on how heavily I rely on Tylenol 3 post-surgery! =Þ
P.S. - I was looking around for Joe Sakic memorabilia again today, and I found this framed picture. If you'll notice, that's the same image I used for one of my wallpapers!! I want...but...must tell myself to control the spending!! ^^;;
