Well, I just added another link to another cool blog site, Femininity. Check it out, the layout's really pretty! Oh, and I added one yesterday too, Issho Ni // teardrops. Again, beautiful layout!! Actually, you should check out all of the "other blogs" that I have listed, they're all awesome! I've even started to read all of them daily, rather than periodically, like I used to. Most of them have really stunning anime layouts! Wah! So jealous! ^_~
Oh well, it's my own fault that I have to stick with plain layouts, since I'm too cheap to pay for webhosting, and blogspot doesn't allow you to upload pictures, etc. etc. ^^;; I like to think that I make up for it with interesting content, but then there are days like today when I'm just babbling inanely. =Þ
Speaking of which, I thought that I should explain why my posts seem (to me, at least) to be getting longer. Notice that sidebar to the left, and how this text box is outlined with yellow? Well, because of the way this layout works, if I don't match my post length to the sidebar length, there'll be this really ugly yellow box that will fill up the space so that the lengths match. That yellow box is just an extension of the bottom yellow line. It's a bit hard to explain, but if you check out my entry for March 5th (the week of March 3rd), you'll see what I mean. It's not pretty.
I could always change my settings so that more than one day's posts are shown, but I thought that it would be good discipline/practice for me to have to write such lengthy pieces of prose daily. Sorry, I know that it makes it more troublesome to read. Still, I think that this blog has been good for me. Writing on and on (b.s.-ing, as we affectionately dubbed it in highschool) seems to have gotten easier, and that's actually a valuable ability for exams. When I started university I had a really hard time writing without "inspiration." It would take me more than an hour to write a single paragraph! By the time exams rolled around, however, I was able to write non-stop for three hours! It hurt my hand, but hopefully it also helped my mark!
So anyway, that is why my posts keep getting longer and longer! Blame it on all the cool bloggers out there who I absolutely must link, because they're so awesome! ^_~
