Yes, at long last, I am done exams!! That was why I haven't updated for a week, by the way. Let me tell you, it is NEVER a good idea to leave studying until the day, or even two days before the exam. It is incredibly stressful, not to mention physically painful. See, when I study, I take notes. So, Monday morning I woke up bright and early to study for my East Asian History exam at 2pm. Then I went to my exam and was writing for 3 hours. After that ordeal, I went back to res, took an hour, hour and a half break, and again started studying, but this time for my grammar exam, which was at 9am today. Truly, I'm amazed my arm hasn't fallen off yet.
Hopefully I've learned my lesson, and next year I'll actually use the one week exam break that the university gives us to study for exams. =P This year I used the week to work and to do my volunteer stuff. Oh well, at least I was productive, I could've spent the exam break surfing the net, reading online comics, etc. etc.--bascially what I normally do to waste time.
Actually, my new thing is ebay. Let me tell you, EBAY IS EVIL! I really mean that. I was perfectly content with my one Marmalade Boy: Best Theme Collection soundtrack until I found someone selling MB soundtracks 5 and 7 for less than $40 US (which is the typical price for new imports, nevermind extremely hard to find, out of print ones). Of course, I had to buy them. Now I'm looking at a Presea UFO catcher, which is ridiculous, considering that toys and miscellanea are at the absolute bottom of my anime shopping list! Not to mention I've already got a list of all the manga, dvds, figures, etc. that I'm supposed to be buying from now until September, and considering that it's well over $800, I doubt that I can really afford to be spending money on things not on the list, even if they are only $5 US + shipping & handling.
That's the trick, though, isn't it? I mean, ebay's designed to appeal to the bargain-hunting nature of consumers. We're not meant to resist the temptation of getting something that's a really good deal. *sigh* I am weak. Now I'm going to go back to look at that Presea UFO catcher. =Þ
