Just watched "Mamma Mia!--laughed my arse off (excuse the language)! Next one is Lion King, then maybe Mamma Mia! again, but with better seats this time. Most movie theatres are designed better than the Royal Alexandra, egad. =Þ The seats are on a really steep incline, but not steep enough that you can actually see over people's heads. Being in the back row was actually an advantage because I could sit straight up and far forward in my seat without worrying about blocking anyone behind me. Anyway, it was a lot of fun. The humour was mostly bawdy--double entendres, innuendos and the like--but it was never crude. Aunt Sophie was probably my favourite character: "I could wear this...as an eyepatch!" Classic!! Everyone who has the chance should definitely see it! Mamma Mia! has given me a whole new appreciation for ABBA. Not that I disliked them before, but I never really went out of my way to listen to them (before my time) if you know what I mean. If I didn't know better, I'd almost think the songs were written for the musical, that's how well written it was! Well, one final plug: GO SEE MAMMA MIA! TODAY!! ^_^ Ja ne!
